Radel, chemical name being Radel A polyethersulfone, is best material for making baby bottles and also many types of food service applications. It has a very good chemical resistance and also a high heat deflection temperature that is around 204°C or 399°F. Radel is a kind of resin which is flame retardant and is thus used for making testing devices and electronic components.

Radel is used for many purposes, like it is used for making electronic devices used in automobiles, additives, composites, coatings, cookware, electrical switches, electrical contractors, automobile lightening systems, and membrane for water recovery, water purification and hemodylasis.
Radel is of two types, namely unfilled type and glass type. Some of the commonly used unfilled Radel are A-201, which is transparent and has medium flow for injection or extrusion molding, and the other is A-301, which is also transparent but has a high flow for same purpose. Types of glass filled are AG-201, which is same as A-201 and AG-301, which again is same as A-301. Radel comes in many varieties and is very useful in many fields and industries.
